Goodpics from Badlands (haha)

My favorite picture is the one in which Kit and Holly are sleeping with the gun kind of positioned between them. When we were watching the movie, I remember thinking it was weird that they weren’t spooning or sleeping in some other guy-protects-girl sort of position. Instead, they’re barely touching at all, and the gun’s barrel is precariously pointing towards Holly. I’m not sure if this was done on purpose or inadvertently, but this scene to me blatantly illustrates how Kit is destroying her youth and innocence (just like the picture of the dollhouse burning).
