GIANT vs. DOH

The theme of the movie is very different from what I have seen so far, but the premise is basically the same. In Giant the idea of being moved to this distant, secluded area is shown constantly by the migrant workers in Days of Heaven. Then the idea of the less fortunate coming into fortune, good luck, and living a better life come true in both situations. Then finally a movie cannot be complete without a steamy love triangle, where in both movies the actual husband seems to be the more passive, inferior actor to the roles of Dean and Gere.
